Focus on preserving strong biodiversity in Norwegian nature

By first carrying out an assessment of the environmental values ​​in the area, the biodiversity and other environmental values ​​will be defined. Climate forests are established in line with established principles and practices for sustainable forestry. This means that we take good care of important environmental values ​​in the forest.

In consideration of biodiversity and other environmental values, we are conducting a comprehensive assessment of the environmental values ​​in the area. Assessment of possible impacts on nationally important habitats is done based on national and regional occurrence, known threat factors, and international requirements for the conservation of habitats and species.
