We were presented with our unique climate forest concept that provides a win-win situation for farmers, the climate and those companies that are now doing their utmost to reduce emissions and compensate for their residual emissions 🌎 Trefadder secures financing for planting regrowth areas. These brand new forest areas form the basis for premium climate credits and thus income for the landowner 🌳💰 Our concept is a further development of the climate forest research project the Norwegian Environment Agency (Miljødirektoratet) spent 50 million on, in collaboration with the State Administrator of Nordland, the State Administrator of Trøndelag and the State Administrator of Rogaland.
The minister got to plant a mobile climate forest, received a certificate for carbon capture and was excited about our concept. She was clearly happy to have a Norwegian climate forest! 🤩
